Kym Pokorny is a garden writer for the Oregonian newspaper here in Portland, and a member of the board for the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon. Her writing is always inspiring and the photos luscious. In this morning’s issue of Home and Garden magazine, Pokorny begins by sharing how “The color wheel makes my head spin like a dog chasing its tail.” and ends the article by saying that you will ” . . . at least want a working relationship with the rotating rainbow we call the color wheel because if nothing else, it gives us permission to ignore it.”
