Swatches, Scales and Triangles:
Color Mixing Practice and Documentation
Polymer Workshop

Project:  Swatches, Scales, Triangles.
Level: Basic polymer clay experience required

This one-day workshop is your chance to practice color mixing while creating useful tools to help you make the colors you love.

There are many different ways to keep track of color recipes.  We will practice three variations:

Documenting Single Colors: Color Swatches can be done one at a time as you figure out the ratios for each color in the mix.

Documenting Mixes with Two Colors: Color Scales work beautifully to show how colors flow from one color to the next.

Documenting Mixes with Three Colors: Color Triangles are a great way to see a representative selection of all the colors possible when you start with just three colors on the corners of the triangle.
