When I look at other artists’ work the first thing I respond to is COLOR. Then shape. Then imagery.
A few years ago I was teaching in Santa Fe and saw the works of fiber artist Kay Kahn for the first time. I was blown away.
Gorgeous colors.
Amazing shape.
Thought provoking imagery.
