Landscape Collage Pendants: Between Shadow and Light


Join the fun as you play with a new way to look at color, mix a personal palette in polymer clay, and explore the advanced versions of the Watercolor technique. In this fast-paced workshop you will learn how to customize colors inspired by your favorite landscapes, explore what nature can teach us about adding depth to our work, practice troubleshooting to get gorgeous color combinations, and collage a mini landscape pendant to take home.

Use advanced Watercolor techniques to make a two sided pendant inspired by nature.

Kit Fee : $15 kit fee includes colored clay, handouts and group supplies.

Materials to Bring:

Premo Polymer Clay: White – 6 oz. minimum. Scrap clay in dark colors or Black – 6 oz.

In addition to pasta machine, work surface, blade, and favorite texturing tools, students should bring one or more magazine clipping or photos of landscapes to use as inspiration.

Level: Intermediate polymer clay experience required. Contact Maggie if you have questions.

Class Length: One day. Seven hours of instruction.

Instructor Fee: $75/student plus travel and lodging. Home stay is fine. Note that the total cost is dependent on site expenses and is determined by the hosting organization.

Class Size: Minimum – 8 students. Maximum -16 students.

Classroom Requirements:  Dedicated convection oven(s), whiteboard or flip chart with markers.  Additional chair for each student if possible.
